Applying Thoreau to Life Today

Thursday, June 14
7:00 – 8:30 pm

Valley Stewardship Network and Thoreau College are partnering for an evening of discussion and contemplation of the life and work of Henry David Thoreau. We will begin by watching Walden, a short documentary film by Ken Burns, on the life and work of Thoreau and conclude by sharing and hearing stories about how to become stewards of the land. Join us for this family friendly event to think about how we might learn from Thoreau’s example.

Instructors: Bryan Heystak and Jacob Hundt of Thoreau College

Location: Valley Stewardship Network Office
