This yard is Andy Lukens’.  He and his father Tom spent the spring planting 75 native shrubs in seven different species throughout the yard to provide a buffer to the street, provide habitat and food for birds, and to beautify the yard.  Photos of and plans for this garden are located in earlier “Tom’s Story” blog posts on this site.  See item below for a list of the plantings in this yard with specific information about each.
