This is the last garden from our Native Plantings Open House.  This garden is full of native plants that, besides their obvious beauty, have formed a robust and diverse ecosystem in their gardens without herbicides, pesticides, excessive watering, or fertilizer in an aesthetically pleasing residential landscape. The owners’ goals include soil health, wildlife habitat with a multi-tiered complex community of native plants, insects, and micro-organisms. Soil health is first and foremost – then everything else seems to fall into place.
